Institute of Science, Poona has started its Swami Vivekanand College of Education (SVCE) with a view to develop the quality teachers. It is my vision to provide the world with motivated, responsible and disciplined youth, to shape a better future. I believe this can be achieved by strengthening their foundation upon which they can create a successful future for themselves and the society around them.

On account of the rapid growth of globalization, exchange programmes in all fields, merging Indian economy with the Global economy, created demands of specialized Human Resource in all fields, including Education. The need of teachers has become one of the important factors as far as exchange programmes are concerned. SVCE aims at bringing about total development of the personality of the aspiring Teachers going for specialization in the various subjects.
