About the Committee
The Admissions Committee is a student-coordinated body that serves as the bridge between prospective students and the institution. Our goal is to ensure a seamless and supportive admissions experience for all candidates while promoting the values, culture, and opportunities at SVCE.
We emphasize:
Building a diverse and high-quality student body.
Maintaining active communication through social media and other channels.
Organizing city meets and outreach events across Maharashtra.
Hosting pre-admission events to provide undergraduates with an immersive look into the life of a student-teacher at SVCE.
Responsibilities of the Admissions Committee
- Manage the admissions process for the B.Ed. program.
- Collaborate with external and internal admissions-related committees to recruit suitable candidates.
- Evaluate and shortlist candidates with strong academic and teaching potential.
- Maintain an applicant database and monitor admission trends.
- Review and recommend changes to admission policies and criteria annually.
- Provide data and suggestions to the Steering Committee for strategic decisions.
