IOS is inspired by the benchmarks set forth by its visionary founder Shri. N. C. Joshi, along with Mrs. Mandakini Joshi. This legacy is now successfully progressing with globalized dispositions.
With well-furnished and LCD-projector-equipped classrooms, computer labs and a versatile library, the infrastructure of the Institute is modern and more than meets the expectations of the present generation students. The Institute is armed with a qualified, experienced and research oriented faculty which is focused towards a transformational and constructivist teaching-learning pedagogy. It endeavors to help the students get industry-ready by ensuring adequate insight into the industrial environment and corporate culture through effective interaction with industry experts and planned visits to industrial organizations.
At IOS, there is a focus on sharpening skills and enhancing the knowledge base in our students. The faculty not only keep themselves at par with the current developments but also contributes to the expansion of the body of knowledge in their field of expertise. To facilitate this, there are Centers of Excellence which enhance domain-specific research and training among the faculty, and entrepreneurship among the students. With very congenial and professional environment the faculty makes substantial contribution to the academia through quality teaching, publications, seminars, conferences, etc.
